Managing Director Scott Johnsnon is a former Assistant Director of the Nationally Coordinated Investigations Unit (NCIU) within the IRS Criminal Investigations headquarters based in Washington, D.C. In this position, he led the NCIU in the identification and investigation of alleged criminal activity of nationwide impact. He also directed the investigative support of these highly complex cases, leading a group of experienced special agents and investigative analyst using data driven approaches to identify and support national criminal financial investigations.

In addition, Scott filled the positions of Assistant Special Agent in charge of the Las Vegas Field Office and Supervisory Special Agent based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, where he led and guided some of the most significant white-collar investigations in the nation.

Scott also held the position of Senior Financial Investigator; he supported the Defense Criminal Investigation Service, Denver RA (DCIS) while working significant financial investigations of alleged criminal activity which impacted the Department of Defense. The included those involving various allegations of violations of contracts. Lastly, Scott also spent time as Senior Financial Investigator assigned to the Financial Litigation Unit (FLU), located within the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Utah, where he provided investigative support in enforcing court-ordered restitution by identifying assets and/or funds owned or controlled by the related defendant through analysis of financial records, property records, and various systems available. These efforts taken by the alleged perpetrators were often facilitated through various methods, which included the use of nominees or hidden accounts. During his tenure, millions of dollars were directed to victims of the underlying conduct of cases.
